Debbie Herrera, HR Director
Debbie joined the Human Resources team for the second time in September 2006. She had been at CHFA before in a senior level Human Resources Generalist capacity, leaving in May 2004. During her absence, she served as the HR Director for an information and analytics company serving the mortgage and finance industry. Debbie has 10 years of Human Resources experience. Originally from Jacksonville, Florida, she relocated to Colorado in October 2001. She has a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and a Masters in Human Resources Management from the University of North Florida.

Shelly Kitts, Human Resources Coordinator
Shelly joined the Human Resources team on February 27, 2006. She is not only new to the HR team but also new to Colorado. She comes to us with seven years of experience in HR. She moved here from sunny San Diego in November 2005 with her husband, 10 year old son, and their Border Collie, Nykee. She worked as a temporary employee for a large communication company as their East Coast Division HR Representative before coming to CHFA. When Shelly is not working she enjoys scorekeeping & coaching for her son’s various little league teams.

Julie Chelin, Human Resources Generalist
Julie joined the CHFA HR group in March 2006. She has her PHR certification and over 10 years of combined (technical recruiting and generalist) human resources experience. Prior to joining CHFA, Julie was a HR Manager for a large satellite television company in the Denver area. A semi-native of Colorado, living here from age 12 through college, Julie moved back to Colorado 4 years ago from Seattle with her husband and their chocolate Lab, Gus, hoping to put the raincoats away and enjoy the sunshine. When Julie is not working, she can be found on the ski slopes or the local mountain bike trails.
