CHFA JumpStart Loan Program Changes

In an effort to ensure that loan applicants understand the pros and cons of the JumpStart program, we have added a borrower information page on our website. Since we have a second mortgage program through HomeOpener Plus, we want the applicant to compare the second mortgage payment of the HomeOpener program to the JumpStart program. In the event the applicant decides not to pay off the JumpStart second mortgage with their tax credit, they need to be aware of this program's second mortgage features.

Loan Officers, instruct your prospective JumpStart loan applicants to read the information page, fill out the Form 912 at the end of the information page (or use this link), and send it to you.

You will need to submit the signed (borrowers and loan officer) Form 912 with your compliance voucher and package.

The Form 912 must be submitted on all new reservations effective Monday, May 18, 2009.
