CHFA is Going Paperless

As part of CHFA’s 2009 corporate “green” initiative, we are now imaging all of our single family loan files and documents through Advance Capture technology. Our long term goal is to provide the fastest, most efficient loan and document review for our Participating Lenders by accepting electronic images of loan files and documents.

However, as we are incorporating these new processes, you may experience extended turn times during various stages of loan and document review. Always remember to use HomeConnection^sm, your quickest source of information, to view loan statuses, reprint forms, CHFA decision letters, documents, reports, etc. Also, CHFA will notify you of any excessive delays via HomeConnection.

If you need further assistance, please contact a home finance analyst, team lead, or manager. For example, if you have loans or documents that you have sent but show as outstanding or not received by CHFA, we will do our best to locate the items or verify whether we have received them.

Please remember: Do not send sensitive, confidential borrower information to CHFA via email; rather use only secure fax, mail, and courier or overnight delivery.
