Effective Immediately!

We are pleased to announce that USDA/RD and CHFA have agreed to a new procedure that complies with Rural Development Instruction 1980-D, 1980.320.

For Lenders who participate in the USDA/RD Loan guarantee program, you must show documentation that the interest rate for the USDA/RD loan matches CHFA's daily published rate.  The acceptable documentation are:

• A screen print of the CHFA daily interest rate page on our website that clearly shows the date and CHFA loan program interest rates; and
• The CHFA Reservation Confirmation letter from HomeConnection^sm.

                        

 

When you submit the loan file to the local USDA/RD office for review and conditional commitment, be sure that a copy of the interest rate screen from the website and the CHFA Reservation Confirmation letter are in the file.
