Dear REACH Members and
Participants,
CHFA’s servicing
department has asked me to pass on a request regarding your REACH payments.
In a few instances, they have received checks that have combined payments
for both mortgage and REACH invoices. We would greatly appreciate it if you
could send separate checks for each. Please mail the REACH payment to my
attention and made payable to CHFA. Also referencing an invoice number
will help ensure we mark the correct invoice as paid. Thanks so much for
your cooperation.
Please note:
The Contracts class that was originally scheduled for May 23rd has been rescheduled for May 30th. The time and place will remain the same: 9:00 – 11:30 at CHFA in Denver.
Also, just a quick
reminder of our upcoming April classes:
Maintenance Safety – The Right to Know Law
(partial day)
Maintenance staff in today’s housing developments face many potential health
and safety risks. Some risks are easily identified, but many are hidden and
not recognized until it is too late. Do you understand Blood Borne
Pathogens and know which ones are responsible for the greatest health
risks? How do you protect your staff and not violate Fair Housing or
Privacy Laws? Are you aware of, and understand “The Right to Know Law?”
This class will provide you with the necessary knowledge to protect your
staff and will also teach your staff how to protect themselves. John
Moseman is a nationally recognized trainer, a seasoned property and
redevelopment manager, and has years of experience developing maintenance

to recognize ACBM that have deterioration, damage or delamination. The
health effects associated with asbestos exposure will be discussed. This
course has been approved for purposes required under Section 206 of the
Toxic Substance Control Act (TSCA) Title II and Colorado AQCC Regulation #8,
and attendees will receive a certificate of completion. Molds are often
