You may be unable to pay the amount needed to bring your loan current in a short period of time. If that occurs, CHFA may help you with extended repayment agreements, loan modifications and insurance claim requests.
If you wish to give up your property, you might be able to deed it back or sell it for less than the balance owed. For further information refer to the

form.
A financial review is required to qualify for the above programs. To start this process, you must complete a
Financial Disclosure Statement
and attach all supporting documentation before submitting your request to this office. If you wish to sell your property for less than the balance owed, complete the
Financial Disclosure Statement
and
Application to Participate
. A
Third Party Authorization
form will also need to be completed for your Broker. Submit fully completed packages to:
