How to make your payments
First mortgage

*Effective June 1, 2008, CHFA will no longer accept cash payments at our offices. Click here to find the nearest Vectra Bank location, where you can obtain money orders, at no cost to you, to make your mortgage payment.
Prefer online payments or payments by phone?
CHFA borrowers can make mortgage payments easily, either online or by phone, using Western Union Speedpay.
Need to wire payment funds?
If you prefer paying in cash, you can use Western Union Quick Collect®. Make your payment at any participating Western Union agent locations including King Soopers, Safeway, City Market, Rite Aid, and 7-Eleven. Setting up an automatic draft
By having your mortgage payment deducted directly from your checking or savings account, you won’t have to write a check every month or worry about missing your payment date. To arrange for automatic withdrawal, simply complete the automatic draft form included in your CHFA welcome letter, click here for the Adobe Acrobat (pdf) version.
You may choose the 1st, 5th or 16th day of the month for your payment to be withdrawn from your account. All of these dates are within the grace days set forth in your promissory note. Allow 30 days for the initial automatic withdrawal process to take effect. You will be notified by certified mail when the first payment will be withdrawn from your account. Continue making your payments by check until you receive this notification.
Budget Drafting
CHFA offers an optional budget drafting plan in which one half of your total mortgage payment is electronically withdrawn from your checking or savings account every other week. You will still pay the same monthly rate, but this system can reduce your loan term. Please contact CHFA’s Loan Servicing Department at 888.925.5720 for further information.
