In this training, we will satisfy the OSHA regulation, "Toxic and Hazardous Substances, Bloodborne Pathogens." We will go over the procedures to follow if an exposure incident occurs, along with post-exposure evaluation and follow-up. The second half of the class will cover "Basic Occupational Safety Training," a customized safety course for OSHA topics, such as ladder safety, procedures for managing blood and bodily fluids, and general safety topics, such as slips, trips, falls, lifting techniques, and small tool safety. Asbestos Awareness, Longmont │ August 22, 2017
This training teaches the attendee how to avoid costly mistakes when working around asbestos-containing materials. Upon completion of this course, participants will have a basic understanding of what asbestos is and where asbestos can be found, and will receive a certificate documenting their attendance. This course satisfies recommendations put in place by the Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) and the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA). See full details and register.
