Chfareach is pleased to be working once again with SFI Compliance for a full-day safety workshop.

Select from multiple locations and dates for your eight-hour training course. Topics will include:

  • general workplace safety and recognizing and preventing hazards;
  • chemical storage and safety data sheets;
  • tool safety;
  • fall protection;
  • ladder safety;
  • electrical safety; and,
  • personal protective equipment (PPE).

The Workplace Safety Certificate will provide students a general understanding of safe work practices to implement at their projects. 

We will begin with an overview of general workplace safety. An exercise will help the students to recognize hazards and how to prevent them. Students will be challenged to consider their varying work environments and how to work safely, regardless of safety rules and regulations. 

We will also present the requirements associated with hazardous chemicals and how to use and read safety data sheets. 

The morning will wrap up with safety practices to use when working with  hand and power tools.

Topics covered in the morning include:

  • general workplace safety;
  • recognizing and preventing hazards; 
  • chemical storage and safety data sheets; and 
  • tool safety.

The afternoon of the Workplace Safety Certificate provides training on many of the most common safety hazards and tasks participants face daily. 

This session will detail OSHA requirements and teach participants safe work practices when working at heights, on ladders, and around electricity. Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) will be presented to teach students about their last line of defense, safety equipment. 

Participants will come away from the class with a much better understand of OSHA requirements and how to keep themselves safe.

Topics covered in the afternoon include:

· fall protection;

· ladder safety;

· electrical safety; and

· Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).

There is no certification test at the conclusion of the training course, but if you successfully attend the full course, you will earn a certificate reflecting eight hours of safety training from SFI Compliance.

Each workshop will run from 8:00am to 5:00pm with a one-hour break for lunch.
