To celebrate its 50th anniversary, CHFA invited CHFA homeowners to share how owning a home has shaped or influenced their life story. After reviewing more than 145 entries, five winners were selected and announced in August. The winners of the Home is Where My Story Starts^smcontest received a free home mortgage payment.

“They say that every house starts with a solid foundation; our home, with the help of CHFA, has given our family that solid foundation,” said Courtney, a CHFA homeowner and contest winner who lives in Commerce City.
