adu financing community engagement sessions

The Accessory Dwelling Unit (ADU) financing authorized under HB24-1152 will be operated by CHFA under a contract with the Colorado Economic Development Commission and Office of Economic Development and International Trade (OEDIT). This financing will work in tandem with the ADU supportive jurisdiction requirements detailed in the bill, and additional information regarding supportive jurisdiction requirements is available at https://dlg.colorado.gov/accessory-dwelling-units. The financing programs are expected to launch this fall.

The community engagement sessions below will be held virtually via Zoom and will help inform ADU financing program guidelines and authorized program uses for eligible borrowers seeking to finance an ADU within supportive jurisdictions.

Single Family Lenders

Monday, June 30, from 11:00am to Noon
This engagement session will seek feedback from single family lenders interested in providing ADU financing.

ADU Manufacturers, Developers, and Builders

Wednesday, July 9 from 3:00pm to 4:00pm
This engagement session will seek feedback from ADU manufacturers, developers, and builders.

CDFIs, Housing Authorities, and Nonprofit Lenders

Tuesday, July 15, from Noon to 1:00pm
This engagement session will seek feedback from Community Development Financial Institutions (CDFIs), housing authorities, and nonprofit lenders.

All Stakeholders

Thursday, July 17, from 1:00pm to 2:00pm
This engagement session offers an additional opportunity for those unable to attend one of the sessions above. This session will be open to all stakeholders.
