Does your organizational strategy include metrics for diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI)? These aspects of business are admittedly difficult to measure, but a DEI strategy is more than a good idea. It impacts organizational culture, staff retention, and funding. 

This interactive training examines various ways of measuring the impact of diversity, equity, and inclusion initiatives upon overall business goals and objectives. Participants will gain an understanding of the metrics that are commonly used and how they relate to other metrics typically used by Human Resources to assess their employee population.

• What are different types of tools used to measuring the impact of DEI upon an organization?
• How are these tools best used to support the overall business objectives?
• What are the pros and cons of conducting a DEI survey?
• How can employee demographics be utilized to support DEI initiatives?

This class leverages the potential of surveys to help establish a baseline of understanding in an organization. Participants will learn about readily available surveys that can be used to assess employee demographics, DEI awareness, and organizational readiness for DEI initiatives. Participants will also have an opportunity to build their own “dashboard” of basic metrics that can be used to assess the impact of their DEI initiatives.
