Please join us for session one of three in our HOTMA series with Paulus & Associates. This session will provide an updated overview, focusing on the $100,000 asset cap and Real Property.

The Housing Opportunity Through Modernization Act of 2016 (HOTMA) is the most sweeping change to determining eligibility and calculating income and rent in the last 40 years. Owners must implement the new income rules for all tenant certifications (50059’s) beginning January 1, 2024.

Owners, Agents, Property Managers, and Compliance Specialists for HUD Multifamily Projects should join us to review new forms, new definitions, and revised definitions, and new regulations for self-certification of assets.

The class will go over changes in what is included and excluded from income, and the percentage of annual income that is deducted before taking medical and disability expenses and elderly/disabled family and dependent deductions.

Learn how each change will work and what you need to do to implement them and be in compliance.
