Bluebird, Boulder
A groundbreaking ceremony was held on January 6th to celebrate Bluebird, which will be the second supportive housing development in Boulder that is not age-restricted to serve individuals and families exiting homelessness. Bluebird will feature trauma-informed design, space for onsite service provision, and free in-unit wireless service.
CHFA was proud to support Bluebird by awarding federal Housing Tax Credits in 2021 and issuing $10.6 million in Private Activity Bonds. CHFA’s Community Development Director, Steve Johnson, spoke at the event.
The Landing at Greyhound Park, Commerce City
On December 8th, a grand opening celebration was held for The Landing at Greyhound Park. This development offers 223 affordable apartments serving individuals and families with incomes at 30 to 60 percent of the Area Median Income or below. The property is part of a master-planned community at the former Mile High Greyhound Park that will feature a mixed-use and mixed-income walkable neighborhood.
CHFA was proud to support The Landing at Greyhound Park by awarding federal 4 percent Housing Tax Credits in 2019, providing a $34 million construction-to-permanent CAPABLE loan, and issuing $35,025,000 in Private Activity Bonds.
Solid Ground Apartments, Lakewood
A groundbreaking ceremony was held November 29th at the future site of Solid Ground Apartments. This 40-unit development will serve formerly homeless individuals and will be the first entirely supportive housing project in Jefferson County. The developer, Jefferson Center for Mental Health, will be the lead service provider. The site is walkable to nearby amenities, employment centers, grocery, and public transportation.
CHFA was proud to support Solid Ground Apartments by awarding federal 9 percent Housing Tax Credits in 2021.
