chfa joins crc rural action network

a rural road with mountains aheadCHFA recently became a Visionary Partner of the Rural Action Network (RAN) at the Community Resource Center (CRC) based in Denver. RAN works to build capacity, engagement, relationships, and collaboration among rural nonprofits. This goal is accomplished through three main avenues:
  1. Convene a network of change-makers across the nonprofit ecosystem to tackle persistent issues in rural Colorado.
  2. Develop and cultivate rural leadership to more effectively lead within their organizations and communities.
  3. Align and increase philanthropy with rural nonprofits to support communities across rural Colorado.
“CHFA is proud to support the efforts of CRC to grow rural communities and their nonprofit networks,” said Jerilynn Francis, CHFA’s Marketing and Community Relations Director. “CRC’s Rural Action Network aligns with CHFA’s work to strengthen communities. Nonprofits are key to the fabric of every community, bringing much needed benefits and services to residents.”

Through this partnership, CHFA hopes to strengthen its knowledge of rural community needs and support nonprofits in their endeavors to address those needs. The RAN offers programs such as the regional Rural Philanthropy Days, Virtual Funder Roundtables, and specialized workshops that CHFA looks forward to participating in.
