The Assisted Multifamily Housing Manager (AHM) in-person course is an intensive, practice-focused training that walks participants through the full lifecycle of HUD Assisted Multifamily operations.
Built around Quadel’s 2026 AHM Coursebook, the program connects HOTMA implementation, TRACS modernization, and HUD’s evolving risk‑based MOR approach to the day‑to‑day decisions made by owners, agents, and site staff.
Participants learn how to interpret and apply HUD’s regulatory hierarchy so they can confidently resolve conflicts between handbooks, notices, contracts, and local requirements.
The course covers core program fundamentals; fair housing and civil rights compliance; eligibility and tenant selection; income, assets, deductions, and rent calculations; leasing and house rules; annual and interim recertifications and transfers; and terminations, discrepancies, fraud, and EIV.
Through real‑world scenarios, forms practice, and case studies, attendees build the skills to maintain compliant tenant files, use EIV and TRACS effectively, protect resident rights, minimize findings and overpayments, and strengthen their property’s overall compliance posture.
Who Should Attend
- Property managers and assistant managers at HUD‑assisted multifamily properties
- Regional managers, compliance specialists, and corporate staff overseeing HUD portfolios
- Owners and management agents seeking stronger MOR outcomes and reduced findings
- New staff preparing for the AHM exam and experienced professionals needing a structured HOTMA‑aligned refresher on HUD Assisted Multifamily program rules.
