Filling vacancies is always a priority, guaranteeing property cash flow. It is also a critical time to ensure the community remains in compliance with the requirements of affordable programs and the new HOTMA regulations and forms. 

The process can be time consuming and cumbersome, especially when trying to juggle the day-to-day responsibilities of property management.  

The goal of this webinar is to provide tips to help speed up the Initial and Annual Certification process. The course will assist in expediting the process by:

  • decreasing the number of appointments and contacts needed with each applicant/resident;
  • ensuring all applicable documentation is collected upfront and in a timely manner;
  • ensuring the MI application and Certification questionnaire are properly completed;
  • ensuring the income and asset certifications are complete and accurate based on the new HOTMA guidelines; and
  • ensuring that all certifications are completed prior to the required due date.

Organization is the key. This webinar will aid communities in establishing procedures which will create a smoother certification process.
