Motivational Interviewing (MI) is an evidence-based approach for direct service professionals in housing and other fields. Learn practical MI approaches that you can implement immediately. 

These approaches assist in efficiently and effectively developing rapport, meeting the participant where they are, and supporting mandated and voluntary participants toward behavior change. 

At the conclusion of this MI training, attendants will be able to accomplish the following learning objectives:

2. Briefly explain the MI Spirit.
3. Identify sustain and change talk.
4. Apply MI approaches to participant situations.
