The Housing Professionals Institute (HPI) is a career development opportunity for those working in Colorado's affordable housing industry. Participants expand competency and expertise, while employers benefit from a reliable resource for developing leadership among their staff.

How does it work?

Sign up now for “All-access HPI.” Select your desired certificate on the clarification page and pay the promotional certificate fee. You will automatically be registered for all of the 2026 HPI offerings listed below, more than 18 hours of training credit overall.

Classes are held monthly throughout the year. Attend all that interest you. Once you have completed 12 hours of class time within a designated track, you will receive a printed, signed certificate and acknowledgement of your efforts. You may continue to attend classes after completion, earning credits toward a new certificate if you wish.

Sign up for “All-access HPI” by January 16th, and complete your professional certificate for half the price!

Through this promotion you can select from 12 topics, more than 18 credit hours during the year. Customize your learning journey with the certificate and sessions that speak to you.

Can I continue to sign up one class at a time? Yes, participants are always welcome to register for individual HPI classes, with or without designating a certificate track. Purchased individually, each class costs $75 for members and $85 for nonmembers. Participants have two calendar years to finish a certificate track. 

Do all classes apply equally to all certificate tracks? Yes. Due to the fluid nature of leadership and teamwork, each certificate is fully customizable according to your professional needs.

What if I already have HPI credits? If you earned HPI credits in 2025, those classes have already been applied to your HPI certificate progress. Due to the deep discount and access provided by this promotion, fees will not be prorated for past participation. However, you may still take advantage of this all-access pass to accelerate your career growth!
