Please Note
CHFA cannot provide legal advice regarding the eviction process or potential claims involving residents and owners/management agents. Seeking legal advice from an attorney may allow you to better understand any applicable rights and remedies you may have.

If you are a resident or employee of a rent-restricted multifamily property overseen by CHFA we suggest you first report the issue to the onsite personnel. Then, we suggest you follow the property’s grievance procedures. Grievance procedures should be available in the property’s front office, and a copy can be obtained from the onsite personnel. If the property does not have grievance procedures available, or if your voiced concerns are not addressed, please contact CHFA’s Resident Line at 303.297.7442 to report the incident. Calls will be returned within two business days during regular business hours (Monday-Friday, 8:00am to 5:00pm). Messages left on the weekend or a holiday will be returned within two business days.
