This two-hour class is open to all staff of CHFA-approved lenders. We will cover all the program basics of using the CHFA programs. Please attend if you have never originated a CHFA loan or if you’re an experienced CHFA lender needing updating about our program changes. Attending a CHFA Lender Certification T​raining class is now mandatory in order to originate a CHFA loan and/or to keep (or receive) access to the CHFA HomeConnection system.

Real Estate Professional Training

The CHFA Realtor CE class is offered free of charge for licensed Colorado real estate brokers. Real estate brokers will learn how CHFA’s residential products can help them get more first time and non-first time buyers into homes. This DORA approved class counts for two CE credits and includes information on all the CHFA loan programs, CHFA DPA grant (down payment assistance grant), CHFA borrower premiums and “no mortgage insurance” options. You’ll learn about all the guideline changes that CHFA has made to allow our programs to be more accessible to even more buyers.
